Overall, the food dehydrator gives a very high-quality impression, despite being made of plastic. Since the possible drying cycle can exceed 100 hours, one can assume that the manufacturer has used high-quality components. However, the top shelf is practically useless, as it sits very close to the top of the dehydrator and is cumbersome to install. It's better to disregard it.

During the drying process, it is necessary to rotate the shelves, as the food near the door does not dry evenly. The temperature control is very precise, which can actually be a drawback, as it may leave the food under-dried. The temperature stays very close to the set point, but this is something to experiment with.

The interior is not easy to clean. The price-to-quality ratio is off, being about 2-2.5 times more expensive than comparable models on the market, though whether it's twice as good is hard to say.

In summary, it's a good appliance with excellent build quality. Whether it's worth the price will be determined over time, but overall, I'm fairly satisfied.

I have now used Sedona -dehydrators a couple of weeks and need to say it is great product. I have tried apples, lemons, limes, onions, garlics, gingers, swedes, beetroot and several different kind of mushrooms; results are excellent. 9 trays are enough and electricity consumption are not very high; even you will use 24 hours, it takes about 5-6 kWh/day. Next I will test to do some beef jerkey.
Quality seems to be really good; stainless steel trays, 60 months warranty, glass door (you can see food without open door all time)
