With it's slow-speed single-auger system, the Omega 8224 makes excellent juice. Like most single-auger horizontal juicers, the Omega 8224 is very versatile, juicing everything from carrots to apples to leafy greens. And the slow-speed means minimal foam and maximum vitamins and enzymes. It also includes a homogenizing so you can make more than just juice. Make fresh nut butters, soy milk, baby food, frozen sorbets, and grind herbs and coffee. A set of six pasta nozzles is also included, allowing you to extrude different shapes of noodles. 

The Omega 8224 comes with juicing parts made from GE Ultem, a BPA-free material that is eight times stronger than other augers. This durable construction combined with Omega's 200-watt motor means this is a juicer that will last a long time. 

TheOmega 8224 is designed to be simple and easy to use. Setting it up is easy and intuitive - just slide in the auger and juicing screen and attach the cap. There are no complicated controls or settings - simply turn it on and start juicing. Pulp is continuously ejected into the included pulp container, and there is an included mesh screen for straining the juice if you like. Cleanup is fast and easy as well.  The juicing parts are rinsed under running water, and any pulp particles in the juicing screen are quickly removed with the included brush.
