Looking for healthy alternatives to ice cream? These three recipes are sure to be a hit not only with kids, but the entire family.

Mango berry

Frozen mango gives a smooth consistency, and strawberries or rasperries make an attractive pink color.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams (2/3 cup) frozen mango pieces 
  • 100 grams (2/3 cup) frozen rasperries or strawberries

Directions

  • Allow fruit to thaw for 5 minutes at room temperature
  • Alternate mango and berries
  • Stir together

Coconut-chocolate

For an even richer taste, freeze some coconut milk into cubes and add it.

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen overripe bananas
  • 50 grams dark chocolate (preferably frozen)
  • 50 grams shredded coconut

Directions

  • Thaw bananas for 5 minutes
  • Process first banana, chocolate, and second banana
  • Stir and sprinkle with coconut

The classic Yonanas recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen over-ripe bananas
  • 150 grams frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries)

Directions

  • Let frozen fruit thaw for about 5 minutes
  • Insert first banana, berries, and second banana
  • Stir together
